About us
Five machines. Every one of them earns its place.
Most hire companies compete on catalogue size. We compete on getting the choice right.
VoltLift exists because we watched Melbourne businesses make the same expensive mistake over and over: hiring or buying a forklift by tonnage and price, then discovering at delivery that it can't lift the top pallet, doesn't fit the container, or needs a power outlet the site doesn't have.
So we built the business backwards from that problem:
- A deliberately small fleet. Five current-generation lithium models — three EP, two BYD — that between them answer the real jobs Melbourne warehouses do. Small enough that we know every load chart by heart; broad enough to cover single-phase small sites through 3.5-tonne heavy work and full-free-lift container duty.
- Fit before quote. We ask about your loads, lift heights, aisles, doorways and power supply before we talk price — and we'll tell you straight if none of our five machines is the right answer.
- Published pricing. Our from-rates and their conditions are on the pricing page. Nobody else in Melbourne does that. We think that says something about them, not us.
- Dealer-backed service. Machines are delivered and serviced through the authorised EP and BYD dealer network, with parts and technicians based in Melbourne's south-east and coverage across the metro area. Scheduled servicing is included in every long-term rate, and every inspection is logged — the compliance paper trail is part of the product.
Who we work with
Owner-operated warehouses, manufacturers, food and beverage businesses and 3PLs across Melbourne's industrial west, south-east and north — typically running one to three machines, where a forklift standing still means trucks standing still. If that's you, the quote form takes four minutes.
Tell us your site. We’ll tell you the right forklift.
Ten minutes of fit questions, a same-day written quote, dealer delivery across Melbourne.
