Questions we get about the EL20-Pro

What does full free lift (FFL) actually do for me?

FFL lets the forks rise to head height before the mast itself extends. Inside a shipping container or under a low door, that means you can lift and stack without the mast hitting the roof. Neither EP model in our fleet has confirmed FFL — this is the BYD advantage.

How fast is 100A charging in practice?

Roughly 2–3× faster than the 60A chargers on the EP models. A 30–45 minute meal break puts a meaningful percentage back into the 210Ah pack, which is what makes single-battery multi-shift operation possible for many sites.

EL20-Pro or EFL181 for a 2 tonne job?

Different jobs. The EFL181 is rated 1.8 t, charges from single-phase and suits light duty. The EL20-Pro is rated 2.0 t with a much bigger battery, FFL mast and fast charging for high-frequency work. If you are working the machine hard all day, the EL20-Pro is the correct machine.
